You will provide a clear vision of a values-driven college and ensure that all students and staff are safe and supported effectively in a fully inclusive environment. The role encompasses responsibility for ensuring excellent standards of teaching, learning and assessment, an outstanding student experience and external relationship building with key stakeholders/partners.

East Sussex College is a large Further Education College offering a broad and inclusive provision that includes A Levels, T-Levels, Higher Education, work-based learning, Adult Education and supported learning programmes in a broad range of curriculum areas from entry level to level 7. Our current income is c£50m. Graded as “Good” in all areas in our 2021 Ofsted inspection, we are proud of the high quality of courses that we offer to over 10,000 young people and adults each year.

As our Deputy Principal, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the development of an innovative, employment-focused curriculum and able to invest your expertise and energy into ensuring that students and colleagues are proud to be members of our exceptional college community.
